Dear Christ the King School Families,

As you may have heard, Christ the King recently began the quiet phase of a capital campaign with the goal of helping us enhance our campus and our school.  We are very grateful to Father Dexter and the parish for embarking on this project that will greatly benefit our entire campus, but more importantly, our school.

Our architect, Kent McLaughlin of Gilbert, McLaughlin and Casella Architects, recently completed schematic designs of our project and Father Dexter has asked several individuals and families to provide leadership for different campaign committees. The campaign director, John Mosher from Walsh & Associates, along with Father Dexter, is putting together a plan for Christ the King to reach out to all our members.

Our effort is currently in a quiet phase, a time when the preparation work is being completed and advance leadership gifts are sought.  The campaign will officially launch the weekend of March 20th and 21st. At all Masses on that weekend, Father Dexter will share our plans in more detail with everyone.  The campaign will then officially commence with a special “Kick-Off Celebration” scheduled for Sunday, April 18th at 12:30p.m. and will culminate on Saturday & Sunday, May 22nd & 23rd – Commitment Weekend – where members who have not already made a gift will be asked to make their campaign gift commitments.

We also are grateful for the excitement surrounding this wonderful addition to our campus. Please note that everyone will have an opportunity to participate and all will be asked to pray for our effort, serve with our effort, and contribute to our effort as they are able.  If you have questions about the campaign or wish to volunteer, please contact the campaign office at 615.292.2884 or email campaign@ctk.org.

It is such an exciting time, and we ask you to pray with us for God’s continued guidance and wisdom.

Peace,

Dr/. G and Mrs. Woodman
