Emergency and Family Support
Families in our Nashville community have been impacted deeply by the atmosphere of fear and anxiety caused by the methods of immigration enforcement and by political commentary that vilifies immigrants, regardless of legal status.
The Cabrini Connection partners with community and Catholic relief organizations to provide food and emergency supplies needed by our neighbors. Learn more about how to volunteer in gathering and distributing needed aid.

Solidarity Through Prayer and Public Witness
The current climate of fear, violent enforcement, and arbitrary shifts in immigration rules undermines the long-held Catholic teaching that every person is created in the image of God, imbued with inherent dignity, and deserving of respect. The Cabrini Connection welcomes you to join us in our efforts to stand in organized, prayerful public witness in solidarity with our migrant and refugee community members so that they may know they are not alone.

Faith Formation and Church Teachings
The Catholic Church has a long history of upholding the dignity of refugees and migrants. We are tasked by God in Scripture to do works of mercy with an attitude of love to those in the margins and cast aside.
Join the Cabrini Connection as we explore, through adult faith formation opportunities, the roots and elements of our Catholic morality and ethics. We provide learning opportunities online here, for examining your knowledge, as well as in person through groups and events.

Accompaniment and Pastoral Care
The Cabrini Connection partners with community organizations to help walk with immigrants as they navigate their way through the immigration system and with basic human needs, such as health care, and their pastoral and spiritual support so that their God-given dignity is upheld and affirmed.

Faith Formation and Church Teachings

Join us in expanding our knowledge of Catholic teaching toward refugees and migrant communities. Our first session, Law, Mercy, and the Migrant: A Catholic Conversation, will take place on March 19, 2026 and will feature Father John, Judy Orr, CEO of Catholic Charities and Dr. Carolyn Heinrich, Vanderbilt professor. Emergency and Family Support

The Cabrini Connection is working with Nashville refugee and migrant community support groups in their efforts to provide basic support, groceries and other family support. Volunteers are needed to help gather, coordinate, and distribute food, baby supplies, and other emergency needs in our community.

Solidarity Through Prayer and Public Witness

We welcome you to join us in praying the rosary for the safekeeping of our refugee and migrant communities.
Every Saturday, following the 9 a.m. mass, please join us in praying the rosary. No experience or materials required. All are welcome.
