Liturgy is how we come together as a community. We also offer many ways to serve in a liturgical sense. Some require a regular commitment, others every once in awhile. We invite you to try something and see how it brings you closer to God and others.
a few details to know about liturgies at Christ The King:
- All are welcome, including children of all ages. We do also offer preschool and nursery during our Sunday morning litugies for those who prefer those options.
- Assisted Listening: Listening devices are available for those who need hearing assistance during the liturgy. Parishioners are also invited to bring headphones and a walkman or small FM radio to Mass and tune to 88.3 FM to listen to the audio program
- Low gluten hosts are available. Please visit the sacristy before mass.
- On the second Sunday of the month in January, April, July and October, the Sacrament of the Sick is available during all the Masses for those suffering from illness of body or mind. You may also call the Church office to request the anointing or if you have any other spiritual or sacramental needs. More information is offered here.
- Baptisms can be celebrated within the mass on the first weekend of each month. For more information please click here.
- Individuals and families are encourage to get involved in the various roles of liturgy, including greeter, lector, extraordinary minister, usher, giftbearer, Children's Liturgy of the Word leader or assistant, and sacristan.
